Hot Glass Mug Making Competition

At Musikfest 2024, Aug. 2-11, competitors will work with one assistant during a 90-minute time slot to complete an original work of art in the theme of the “Musikfest Mug”.

The artist with the most votes wins a $1000 prize pack. Voting will being Aug.11 and end Aug. 18.

In 1984, the first Musikfest Mug was not a mug at all, but instead a small cup and pitcher. The design evolved over the years to the colorful 24 ounce insulated mug that we recognize today, each year celebrating the spirit of Bethlehem and Musikfest with dynamic artwork.

This little guy’s name is Rex. He’s a pretty loyal pal and seems rather reserved; but nothing excites him more than to sunbathe in the summer and attempt to catch birds in mid-flight in the backyard. When he was younger, he would pull out all of his toys from his basket to find his favorite tennis ball. He loves tossing his tennis ball up in the air and catching it. If he could, he would play fetch for hours.
